El Dr. Ricardo Enríquez es Profesor Titular de la Escuela de Medicina Veterinaria de la Universidad Austral de Chile.

Sus estudios de medicina veterinaria los realizó en la Universidad Austral de Chile, mientras que su Doctorado en Medicina Veterinaria lo obtuvo en la Universidad Ludwig Maximilians de Munich, Alemania.

Actualmente es el Decano de la Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias de la Universidad Austral de Chile.


Las líneas de investigación se centran en Enfermedades de peces y moluscos, Patogenia de enfermedades bacterianas y virales de peces, Inmunología de organismos acuáticos, Diagnóstico de patógenos virales y bacterianos de peces, y Legislación sanitaria nacional e internacional.
